Day 2 on the road

Little windy today but was able to keep going. Looking at the temps on the truck gages it got into the 60's. Right now we are in Benton Ar. I will get a photo of the camp site and post it tomorrow. My trailer was no where near long enough to fill the site. When we pulled in here we both said we where hear before. We stopped on our way to Mountain Home AR.several years ago.Nice place very friendly people. $20 electric and water. Last nights campground was very nice. We stayed there 2 other times. New owners this time. They spent a lot of time and money fixing up the place. The wash rooms are redone and this year are heated, They rerocked and graded all the interior roads. The place is very nice. They have chickens and the birds lay more eggs then they can use so they gave us 1/2 dozen fresh eggs. The price was a tad bit high $30.60 but they are open all year round. During the winter in IL. it can be hard to find an open camp ground. Even at that price I would stay there again. Tomorrow we will be in Texas but we will be in the very North East corner and we will have to drive to almost the far South West corner. Hope to be at Snow to Sun by Tuesday
