Calgary

Gloria and I spent one day in Calgary before the Stampede. Pretty scenery but no place to park downtown as the stampede was on. If there was any parking any where downtown it was up for rent at about $20 a spot.

We visited Lougheed House. It was built in 1891 and served as a family home, a training center for young women, a women's military barracks, a blood drive clinic and now a museum. Really a neat looking place.
