Went to Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park in North west Illinois. We camped with an old friend that I had worked with. We see him every year in Texas. He has a spot in Mission. There were 2 couples there with us - Rob and Sharon and Al and Alvera. Rob and Sharon are full-time campers and have a truck and 5th wheel that gets them where ever they want to go. Al and Alvera live near us and also spend the winter in Texas.

We took a ride to Monroe Wisc. for lunch and stopped at Baumgardners, a Swiss Deli and bar. I always order the Braunschwiger and Limburger sandwich. Gloria says it does wonders for my breath. There are dollar bills stuck to the ceileing. We also went to Winslow, Illinois to pick up some water for brewing. They have an aquifer there that is the local drinking water. Nothing is added to the water.

The building on the right by the sign is the pumping station to get the water to the water tower. The water is tested twice a week at the well and at different spots around town.
