Went to Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park in North west Illinois. We camped with an old friend that I had worked with. We see him every year in Texas. He has a spot in Mission. There were 2 couples there with us - Rob and Sharon and Al and Alvera. Rob and Sharon are full-time campers and have a truck and 5th wheel that gets them where ever they want to go. Al and Alvera live near us and also spend the winter in Texas.

We took a ride to Monroe Wisc. for lunch and stopped at Baumgardners, a Swiss Deli and bar. I always order the Braunschwiger and Limburger sandwich. Gloria says it does wonders for my breath. There are dollar bills stuck to the ceileing. We also went to Winslow, Illinois to pick up some water for brewing. They have an aquifer there that is the local drinking water. Nothing is added to the water.

The building on the right by the sign is the pumping station to get the water to the water tower. The water is tested twice a week at the well and at different spots around town.

Seiler's Sagas

Still trying to get the hang of blogging. On the way home from the factory I had a slight tire malfunction. Since I have Good Sam road service, while I was waiting for the guy to come and change the tire I called the factory and told Randy the repair forman that I was on my way back. I told him what was damaged and I would spend the night and he could work on it the next morning. When I got there he had one guy take my rim to a gas station to have a new tire installed and he had 2 guys fix my trailer. I was on the road in 30 min. Thought I would post some pics of the damage.  We were told these are the best Chinese tires and they are cheaper than the cheapest American tire.  Duh!  I still have 4 Chinese tires on the trailer.

Seiler's Sagas

Our friends Pam & Dennis have been helping us with starting a blog. Hope our's comes out a good as their's does. Nothing is new here as Scott has the trailer and we aren't going anywhere till the 14TH when we meet Rob and Sharon from Mission, TX in Lena, IL.  We did get some pictures from Texas. They show the Rio Grande River at a place called Pepe's on the River. We have had a lot of fun at Pepe's and hope they can salvage it.
